How to Fix Invisible Menu in GTA III (2001 Original Version) | Menu Not Showing

In this troubleshooting tutorial video, I'll show how to fix the problem of "invisible transparent menu", also called "invisible transparent UI", in GTA III (2001 original version). When this problem happens in GTA III, the menu can either be completely invisible, or some options can be partially "blanked out", or transparent, with some sort of opacity effects, rendering them partially invisible or completely invisible to the user. This problem is quite common when running Grand Theft Auto III (the 2001 original version) in modern hardware. This video addresses a problem of the GTA III 2001 original version, it is not related to the "Definitive Edition" of GTA III, which is a different version.

To fix this problem,
1. Choose a frame limiter software of your choice
In my video, I'll use RivaTuner. But you can use the software you prefer, as long as it is able to limit frame rate.
2. Open the frame limiter software of your choice
3. Set the frame limit to "30"

By limiting the FPS to 30, we can run GTA III in the way this software was intended to be used, which is, with a 30 FPS lock in place. By going over this limit, the game can present glitches and issues, and this can prevent a smooth experience for the user. Thus, by limiting to 30, we can also prevent other GTA III software problems besides just the invisible menu.

Like and subscribe to support my work.

Is there any game, problem or software you'd like me to fix?
